Records/Archives Management - Legislation and Standards

The University is subject to many legislative requirements and the process of Records Management is no different. The Records and Archives Office (RAO) through its daily workings and development of the tools, procedures, guides and advices to assist with the keeping and maintaining of university records ensures that the various legislative requirements are also met within the various functions it performs or provides advice on.

Both State and Australian standards are also applied to the work provided by the RAO, and while there is still a lot of work to do, these standards are the benchmarks the RAO uses to measures its success in the provision of its services and processes.
